I Gave You My All (I Don’t Know When, I Don’t Know Where)

I gave you my all,
But perhaps it wasn’t quite enough after all.

Glimpse by glimpse, day by day,
I feel your love fading away.

Breath by breath, touch by touch,
The feeling changes less or much.

They say hope keeps the world from falling,
But you can always find someone to hand a little pushing.

Love and happiness gone astray,
Tomorrow, the day before and today.

All of them are one, filling the emptiness,
Silent, chilling, noiseless, flawless.

Still, hope is all I got,
I just hope hope's not up to let me rot.

And I don’t know when, I don’t know where,
I just hope I’ll see you some day standing there.

In front of me,
Smiling all the love there shall be.

And if it is not meant to be,
Find your freedom where your eyes can see.

I love you, my little burning fire,
Be happy, even without me and my scorching desire.
